Dr. Geddes is the author of the Complex Care and Intervention (CCI)program which is designed for children who have experienced significant trauma or maltreatment, and who exhibit substantial emotional, behavioural and interpersonal difficulties. CCI is offered through the Ministry for Children and Family Development and represents an integration of approaches based on understanding of attachment disruptions (including those caused by parental addictions, mental illness and loss), neglect, family violence and traumatic experiences, and how these experiences affect the neurological development, emotions, thinking, and behaviour of the children we work with.
