Complex Care Intervention (CCI) Program
CCI is a specialized clinical intervention model for children and teens with complex trauma and unique needs. Its holistic approach ensures a unified support team using consistent language and trauma-informed strategies.
Over 18 months, the program provides in-person assessments, coaching, and personalized clinical support for the entire care team. Our developmental assessment tool tracks the child's progress across seven developmental domains, enabling tailored strategies for effective healing.
Supported by rigorous research, the program has shown positive changes in the lives of children in indigenous communities, adoptive, foster, or family care, notably enhancing emotional and behavioral well-being, reducing placements, and restoring hope and resilience in the home and lives of the child and their families.
Trauma-Informed Psych-Ed Assessments
Complex Trauma Resources specializes in trauma-focused psych-ed assessments, setting our services apart by seamlessly integrating a developmental trauma assessment alongside traditional cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations.
Our unique approach allows us to diagnose students with a Neurodevelopmental Disability linked to Complex Trauma. This crucial distinction enables qualifying for designation under Chronic Health with school districts, leading to increased funding and enhanced support for schools.
While other assessments often focus solely on cognitive and academic aspects, our comprehensive evaluations ensure a holistic understanding of the individual's needs, paving the way for more effective and targeted interventions.
Counselling Services
At Complex Trauma Resources, we offer dedicated counseling services designed to meet the unique needs of adult caregivers and guardians of kids involved in the Complex Care Intervention program, foster and adoptive care.
Our support extends to individuals who have participated in our training programs. We provide virtual therapy to help navigate emotional challenges to better support the children in their care.
